Beginning March 2015, the MPA announces the opening of its regular cycle Grant-A-Wish grant requests for use during the 2015 – 2016 academic year. MPA provides grants to faculty and staff for various types of items, equipment, field trips and events that will enrich students’ experiences at Minuteman. The application form with more details is on the reverse side.
The total amount that the MPA will provide in grants has not yet been determined as it depends upon the success of Comedy Night. We will once again have a “fish bowl” type container whereby attendees of Comedy Night can make donations specifically to fund the Grant-A-Wish (GAW) program. A donor will have the option of making a donation to support a specific grant request (grant-requests will be listed) or to fund the GAW program in general. Donations can also be made to specific grants through the online auction site that goes live on March 3, 2013. The MPA willcontinue to fund the GAW program from the net proceeds of Comedy Night.
Completed Grant-A-Wish forms are due by March 8, 2013. Follow the instructions completely on the reverse side of the GAW form. The sooner you submit the sooner we can put your request online and obtain donations for your request.
Please get the word out to faculty and staff members about this wonderful program and encourage them to participate. Members of the MPA Grant-A-Wish committee look forward to awarding grants each year.
